Mok Gwee and Associates was established in 1993 as a partnership between Arthur Mok (B.Sc.Arch Eng.) and Michelle Gwee (B.A., B.Arch(Hons), PhD). Arthur has extensive experience in architectural construction having been part of the Norman Foster team in Hong Kong and also as a project manager. Michelle was a part-time lecturer at the University of Hong Kong and a visiting professor at the Xiamen Huaqiao University. For a few years Michelle was the Deputy Design Director for Belt Collins International spanning the disciplines of Architecture and Landscape design.
Mok Gwee offers Clients a full range of design consultancy services from masterplan design, architecture design, hardscape design and interior design. Our expertise and experience focus in particular on the intermediate areas between architecture and landscape, as well as architecture and interior. With sensitive design, transitions from one realm into the next can greatly enhance the built environment. Likewise our approach to interior design is architecturally biased. We sculpt spaces more than merely decorate them. Interior design services include image design and installations. We undertake the full scope of all design packages, from feasibility studies, planning, detailing, and extend to include tender, construction and contracts management.
